Mammography Tech
The Mammography Technologist is a graduate of an accredited AMA school, maintains state license as a general radiographer and is registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in Mammography. The Mammography Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the performance of basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services. The Mammography Technologist demonstrates proficiency in routine mammography procedures including but not limited to screening and diagnostic mammography, needle localization and specimen imaging.

· ALARA principles and application
· Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
· Minimum of 1 year mammography experience

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
· Registered by ARRT with advanced training in mammography and licensed by the State of AZ Division of Special Licensing (CRT and CMT)
